SECELIA BORDOY - HOME BAKER, EVENT PLANNER AND BLOGGER
I am the owner of Sweet Events by Secey and am here to offer my client’s a fully customizable menu. Myself and the team are well versed in all areas and promise to deliver to the highest standards. We have served in the hospitality industry (Restaurants, Catering and Hotels) for over 25 years and are committed to getting too know the client!
My passion for the industry all started at a much younger age and far before landing my first restaurant job. Growing up in a family of 7 (parents and sisters) someone was always mixing things up in the kitchen and we'd all take turns cooking and baking for the entire family and friends.
While working in the industry; I wore many hats in the absence of the owners, management crew and the front and back of house staff members. That meant jumping behind the bar and making drinks, seating guests, running food, washing dishes, cleaning a toilet or two or even plating some side dishes and desserts.
I’ve met so many wonderful colleagues and guests along the way who have made me laugh and some cry throughout my journey at Karavas, Wolf and Barry Steak House, Punch, Giorgios of Gramercy, Helmsley Hotel and the Garage Restaurant. All and all it was a wonder ride. I say, I’ve been blessed!
